Concert at Ca'n Bonico

Young Violin Virtuosos

The violinists Elea Nick and Aleksey Semenenko will make their debut in Mallorca on 4th and 5th October. With the pianists Andreas Nick and Inna Firsova they will perform, amongst others, works by Lalo, Massenet, Tchaikovsky and Ysaÿe.

Maxim Vengerov, Daniel Hope and David Garrett have something in common, and so do Chloe Hanslipp, Vadim Repin and Daishin Kashimoto: They are violinists, play in the 'Champions League' of music and had a teacher who has paved the way for them: Zakhar Bron.

Zakhar Bron, pupil and assistant of the violinist Igor Oistrakh, is considered as one of the most important violin teachers worldwide. To be taught by him, is like winning the lottery jackpot, wrote Daniel Hope.

Two young master students of Prof. Bron are the Swiss Elea Nick and the Ukrainian Aleksey Semenenko. On 4th and 5th October, they make their debut in Mallorca. In Ses Salines and Palma, they will perform works by Lalo, Massenet, Waxmann, Poulenc, Ysaÿe, Tchaikovsky and Paganini together with the pianists Andreas Nick and Inna Firsova.

These events will close this year's concert series at Monestir de la Puríssima Concepció and at Ca'n Bonico.
